Hudecek has 25 years of clinical experience at renowned healthcare institutions including the Harvard Medical Institutions and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hudecek spent a number of years with the Harvard Risk Management Foundation (CRICO/RMF) helping the nation's leading medical institutions understand and take action to reduce the cost and risk of adverse events through leadership, the intelligent use of data, and process improvement. At Harvard, CareGroup, and Private HealthCare Systems, Hudecek designed and implemented systems and practices at major health systems nationwide to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care to large, diverse, and complex patient populations. “I have worked with hundreds of hospitals and insurance programs nationwide to target specific patient care issues, develop and implement effective risk reduction strategies, and to measure the impact of these initiatives,” Hudecek said. “AirStrip Technologies is at the forefront of remote patient monitoring, and its innovative solutions are showing the industry state-of-the-art methods to mitigate the risk of adverse outcomes.” Hudecek earned her nursing diploma from Mercy School of Nursing, a Baccalaureate Degree from Regis College, and a Master's Degree from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley College. “Nancy brings a unique blend of clinical, analytical, and financial leadership skills to AirStrip Technologies’ clients, to help them better understand and improve care,” said AirStrip President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Cameron Powell. “Her professional mission aligns closely with AirStrip’s goals of improving patient safety and strengthening communication among healthcare professionals.” AirStrip Technologies has developed a revolutionary Remote Patient Monitoring platform that serves as the backbone for a collection of robust, state-of-the-art software solutions. This system gives physicians the ability to remotely access real-time and historical waveforms and other critical patient data using a mobile device. AirStrip OBTM is the first FDA-cleared solution built from the platform. It enables remote monitoring of critical medical information, including waveform data, from patients within a hospital’s labor and delivery unit. The solution allows a physician or nurse to read a patient’s real-time and historical waveform data including fetal heart tracings and maternal contraction patterns as well as nursing notes, vital signs and other critical data, all via a smart phone.
